Here are some of my favorite projects, presented roughly in chronological order of last major activity.  You can also get to these via the link in the upper right-hand corner of the site, or on the menu up-top if you’re on a mobile device.

Ascendant is a recording I made with Greg Sinibaldi.  Greg and I have played together since approximately forever, and in 2013 we released a duo recording on Prefecture Records called Ascendant.  The music was recorded at the Dan Harpole Cistern on the grounds of Fort Worden in Port Townsend, Washington.

Crosstalk is a  piano-clarinet-bass-drums quartet doing mostly my music.

Vertigo is a chamber-improv quartet, with a sort of weird instrumentation of clarinet, trombone, cello, and acoustic guitar, again doing my music.  We made an album that was released on Present Sounds.

collage/décollage was an album that I made with my clarinet mentor, William O. Smith.  We played duet music, mostly his.  The recording also contains world premieres by François Houle and Tom Baker.

Cipher is a unique blend of two clarinet & two violins.  We played music by everyone in the group.
