Tonight at Gallery 1412 in Seattle, we’ll be doing a rare all-improv set, along with a solo set by the great Bay Area clarinetist & composer Matt Ingalls.
I’ve always really enjoyed the improvisations with this group. They’re almost always 4-5 minutes long, and each usually comprises a single thought, like a single line of a poem or a certain coloring in a painting.
